Emiflo is a first of its kind in-line electrical pump relay that is designed to protect water/slurry pumps against mechanical failures without the need for any intrusive sensors to be fitted to your pump or motor.

– Operate as a stand-alone unit: Measurement and fault data is stored and displayed locally and can easily be accessed by field personnel.

Emiflo can also be provided in a Flame Proof Housing, suitable for underground mining applications.

Using only standard in-line voltage and current sensors,Emiflo is capable to detect and protect your pump system.

Emiflö maximizes your pump system’s mechanical life

The useful mechanical life of your pump system is shortened every time the through-flow is disrupted. Prolonged disruptions can lead to equipment failures, reduced productivity and costly and unscheduled plant outages.

In most installations, failures are detected by Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCS) that require either in-pump sensors or in-line flow/level sensors. These sensors often become the point of failure, ending up degrading the overall reliability of your pump system.

SYSTEM PROTECTION:

EMIFLÖ can detect and protect your pump’s electrical system against the following failures:

• Over-current
• Loss of a phase in the motor
• Loss of a phase from the pump’s power supply
• Phase imbalance and earth faults
• Reverse pump rotation due to cabling errors
  

EMIFLÖ was designed for seamless integration with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems.

The EMIFLÖ control unit provides the following control and monitoring system interface options:

• 8 potential free contacts
• RS485 MODBUS communications interface
• TCP/IP via GSM and/or Wi-Fi
• Cloud database connectivity

• FEATURES AND OPERATION:

• Status Indication:

                          EMIFLÖ provides field personnel with live measurements (voltage, current, etc), operational data                                    (motor hours, number of starts, etc) and status indication for both the pump system and the relay.

• Automatic Fault Recovery:

                           EMIFLÖ will automatically attempt to restart the pump safely after a fault is detected. In the event of                             a more serious failure, EMIFLÖ will prevent the pump being restarted until it has been inspected.

• Local Storage:

                          EMIFLÖ can store up to 3 months operational data, as well as detailed fault logs.

Multi-Voltage Operating Range EMIFLÖ is a 3-phase in-line pump relay and can accommodate any pump system with a supply voltage in the 380V – I OOOV range (VLine)

Range of Power Ratings EMIFLÖ relays are available in various kW options for compatibility with most industrial pumps.

The EMIFLÖ system’s modular design allows for custom configurations for very large pump installations.
